What is your refund policy?

Refund policies vary by event and are set by each individual organizer. These terms are clearly stated before purchase and must be agreed to during checkout.


📄 Types of Refund Policies You May Encounter

  1. “No refund at any time”
    ➤ The sale is final. Refunds will not be issued under any circumstance, including cancellations.

  2. Refund within 7 days of purchase
    ➤ You can request a refund within 7 days from the time of purchase directly from your account.

  3. Refund up to 3 days before the event
    ➤ You may be able to request a refund even after the 7-day window, as long as you’re more than 3 days from the event. These refunds must be requested by contacting the organizer.


🎫 What Happens if My Event is Cancelled or Postponed?

  • Cancelled: Most organizers are required to issue a refund

  • Postponed: The organizer must provide a new date. If no date is shared within a reasonable timeframe, you can request a refund

⚠️ Please note: Service fees and admin fees are non-refundable, even if the event is cancelled or rescheduled.


🧾 Can I Review the Refund Policy Before I Buy?

Yes. Refund terms are visible:

  • During checkout (before payment)

  • On the event page

  • Under your account → "My Tickets"

  • In our official Refund Policy

  • In section 2.1 of the Terms of Service


💳 What If I Opened a Dispute With My Bank?

If you filed a chargeback through your credit card issuer:

  • The review is handled by your bank

  • Resolution may take up to 3 months

  • TicketGateway cannot speed up or intervene in the process
