You can request a refund for your ticket in one of two ways, depending on your event’s policy and the organizer’s settings.
Log in at ticketgateway.com
Click the dropdown menu in the top-right corner
Select "My Tickets"
Find the event and click "Get a Refund"
This sends your request directly to the event organizer, who is responsible for reviewing and approving refunds. TicketGateway cannot issue or approve refunds on the organizer’s behalf.
If your event doesn’t support automated refund requests, you can reach out to the organizer manually:
Log in to your account
Navigate to your event page or ticket listing
Click the "Contact Organizer" button
This will send your request directly to the event promoter for review.
Once a refund is processed by the organizer, it may take up to 15 business days to appear on your credit card or bank statement.
If it’s been more than 15 business days, contact us at
📩 support@ticketgateway.com
We can provide an Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) to help your bank trace the refund.
If you believe your refund was unfairly denied based on the event’s stated policy:
Email support@ticketgateway.com to escalate the issue
Our team will investigate and determine whether you are eligible for a refund
Please note:
If the organizer used a third-party processor (e.g., PayPal), we may not be able to retrieve funds without their cooperation.
If you're not eligible for a refund, you may be able to transfer your ticket to a friend or change the name — right from your account. Learn how in our “Ticket Transfers” section.
